D.UNSS Garden was not planned. It was felt.
A childhood full of flowers brought home in baskets. Gifts discovered at Nani's place that felt impossibly unique. Birthdays decorated by hand because the person deserved something made — not just bought. Cards written because words in a shop could never say what the heart meant.
That feeling never left.
It grew through years of making — through exhibitions, through people stopping at our stall and feeling something they could not explain, through customers who came back not because of marketing but because of something real they had held in their hands.
Until one evening in December 2024.
A man stopped at our stall at an exhibition. He looked at a candle — slightly swollen, a little broken from display. He said nothing about the damage. He just looked at it quietly. There was something in his eyes — a graceful stillness — like he was seeing what the candle meant, not what it lacked.
We understood. He wanted this candle.
"We have to leave tomorrow. 6 AM," he said.
We could not let him leave disappointed. That feeling — not a calculation, not a business decision — that feeling made us say yes.
We came home past midnight. Made the candle. Packed it with care. Booked the delivery at 4 AM. Slept two hours.
When we looked at his card properly — for the first time — we saw:
The Vice President, Material Handling. Toyota.
We had not known who he was. We had simply seen a man who loved a candle — and we could not let him leave without it.
He received it by 6 AM. Before he left.
That is D.UNSS Garden. Every order. Every person. Every time.
